With questions still lingering about his NFL future, Aaron Rodgers recently hosted a flag football tournament through his charity, the RX3 Foundation, bringing together a mix of current stars and former legends for a good cause.
“Though Rodgers hasn’t given the Steelers a concrete answer on his future, the two sides continue to engage in positive conversations, and Rodgers is aware of the ongoing roster construction,” ESPN reporter Brooke Pryor wrote.
The coach and quarterback were together in Green Bay from 2006-18 seasons, winning a Super Bowl.
Instead, Mike McCarthy, who was previously the head coach of quarterback Aaron Rodgers with the Green Bay Packers, will take over. Although the connection between the two is clear, Rodgers has not yet decided whether he will continue playing or retire.
Aaron Rodgers' future is still uncertain, but all signs point to Pittsburgh. After passing on multiple quarterbacks, the Steeleres appear to be waiting for the veteran in what could be his final shot at a Super Bowl.
