According to @BDisgusting on X, special effects legend Shane Mahan has built the creature. The effects veteran has worked on Aliens and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, among several other iconic genre films. His involvement gives fans of those films another reason to look forward to Cregger’s Resident Evil.

“Resident Evil,” the first new film in the franchise adapted from the beloved video game series since 2021, opened in theaters over the weekend to the tune of$60 million at the domestic box office.

Instead, he's created a new story around Bryan ( Austin Abrams ), an ordinary guy who finds himself caught up in something far beyond his abilities.
