The Food and Drug Administration has elevated its recall of Utz potato chips to its highest level over concerns of potential salmonella contamination, which can cause foodborne illness.

The Food and Drug Administration has elevated its recall of Utz’s Dirty and Zapp’s potato chips to Class 1, the most serious classification.

The FDA has now classified it as a Class I recall.
