(NEXSTAR) – After a Powerball drawing on March 30, 2005, produced 110 winners of the game’s second-tier prize, lottery officials were immediately suspicious.

In a very rare stroke of luck, 11 winning million-dollar Powerball tickets were drawn in Louisiana last week, according to state lottery organizers. Six people won $2 million in the April 29 drawing and another five people won $1 million. Ten of the winning tickets were listed as unclaimed as of Tuesday.
