This template is intended to assist your agency in the creation of a vulnerability disclosure policy (VDP) that aligns with Binding Operational Directive (BOD) 20-01.

Beginning today, the DoD Vulnerability Disclosure Policy provides a legal avenue for security researchers to find and disclose vulnerabilities in any DoD public-facing systems.

This policy has been developed in consultation with the Attorney General, the Secretary of Defense, the Administrator of GSA, and non-governmental security researchers.
