In my opinion, joint spacing alignment is more important than phalangeal alignment. It’s very easy to achieve preconceived favorable palmar and hoof/pastern angles by lowering or elevating the heels with 2 dimensional trimming and or shoeing. Joint spacing alignment relies on finding the 3 dimensional balance of the true ground contact points in the calloused live horn in the solar structures.
