What do we want? A guardrail worth fighting for. The SR 153 Methow River Bridge reopened this week with a repaired southbound rail! The southbound lane was closed in August for safety after an inspection determined that it may no longer stop an errant vehicle should there be a crash. Our contractor crew got down to business and worked seven days a week to install 302 feet of new railing and perform some structural and deck repairs. From there, we had to wait 10 days for the concrete to cure. And
